Statement of Beliefs

We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired and only authoritative Book of God.

We believe there is one Spirit, one Lord, one God and Father of all, who is Creator of all. (Ephesians 4:4-6; 1 John 5:7; Isaiah 40:28)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Ghost, was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, was crucified, died, buried, resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father. (John 3:16; Matthew 1:20,23; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 2:8; 1 Corinthians 15:4; Ephesians 4:10; Hebrews 12:2)

We believe salvation is a gift by grace from God to man.  The sinless life, sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the means of reconciliation for all who repent and believe. (Ephesians 2:8; Romans 3:25; 2 Corinthians 5:18; Acts 2:38; John 3:16)

We believe the promise of the Father, the baptism of the Holy Ghost, with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues or stammering lips, remains our Lord's plan today. (Matthew 3:11; Acts 1:4-5; Isaiah 28:11-12; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:6)

We believe the spiritual gifts of 1 Corinthians 12 remain available today.

We believe marriage is an institution established by God between one man and one woman in a lifetime covenant. (Mark 10:7; Ephesians 5:31)

We believe God forms every person either male or female and we should not change what He designed. (Genesis 1:27)

We believe in the soon-coming, personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:11)
